It’s unfortunate really, the unincorporated community of Beldenville, Wisconsin has no schools that are within it, and thus we shall talk about schools near it, in this case, in the neighboring town of Ellsworth, and due to these facts, we shall talk about the schools in that neighboring area only, as it is the closest to Beldenville.
First off, there’s St. Francis School. Kindness, respect, and Catholic Christian values have been their foundation since their opening in 1948. St. Francis School is a Catholic elementary school open to all faiths. The school strives to create a strong child-centered, safe, learning environment which prepares young people for a successful future built upon strong academic instruction and Christian virtues. It offers 4YK* through 5th grade with small class sizes of 20 or less.
The school’s curriculum consists of the core subjects plus Religion, Handwriting/Cursive, Technology, and Music. Hands-on learning is encouraged with field trips, robotics, STEM, and dramatic performances. We meet WI state standards and the standards for the Diocese of La Crosse. Many of our students have graduated as valedictorian, salutatorian, or as honor students, proving that what kids learn at St. Francis serves them well their entire lives.
The school’s teachers, administration, and staff teach academic skills and guide children to learn about faith, virtues, morals, and spirituality through a patient, caring example. Their teachers are highly qualified, state-certified, support a top-level curriculum, and have over 104 years of combined experience. The low turnover of staff is a testament to the dedication and passion these individuals share for teaching students at St. Francis School.
First, through Fifth Grade Classrooms are fully equipped with Chromebooks and Smartboards. As with public school, Google is our technology choice. We’re preparing kids for advancement into 6th grade. Music education is an integral component of the curriculum. The students of this school show great talent performing a school-wide program each Christmas and Spring. The opportunity to learn cohesively as a student body allows older students to become role-models while giving younger children confidence and excitement.
Ellsworth High School is another place that the people of Beldenville send their children to, located on 323 Hillcrest Street, Ellsworth, WI 54011. Ellsworth Community High School is a public school serving grades 9 through 12 in Ellsworth, Pierce County, Wisconsin, United States. The school offers a wide range of class selections in subjects including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Social Studies, Music, Physical Education, Agricultural Sciences, Technical Education, Family and Consumer Education, and Business and Marketing. Advanced Placement classes are available. They include AP Literature and Composition, AP United States History, AP Biology, and AP Calculus. Ellsworth, Wisconsin’s athletics participate in the Middle Border Conference. The Middle Border Conference consists of seven other schools in Wisconsin including Amery, Baldwin-Woodville, New Richmond, Osceola, Prescott, Somerset, and St. Croix Central.
