In this article we’ll be talking about various parks in Inver Grove heights, their addresses, and what you can do in them. We will sort them alphabetically.
First is Arbor Pointe Park, this neighborhood park is located at 8545 Cahill Ave. This 4-acre park boasts a playground that is sure to bring entertainment to the neighborhood children and over 1800 feet of paved trails for walking, biking or running.
Next, there’s Broadmoor Park, this park is located at 11306 Stratford Lane. Amenities include both paved and non-paved trails as well as a playground. Come check out this new park!
Next on the list is the Community Center Park, it is located next to Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. The park is sure to show children of all ages a great time. There are three separate large playground sets that will attract different age groups. Look forward to a small picnic pavilion in the area.
Ernster Park has something everyone will enjoy. This 5-acre neighborhood park has what you need for a day of outdoor fun. Amenities include a playground, baseball / softball fields, basketball courts, a sand volleyball court and horseshoe pit. Enjoy lunch in between playing at our picnic tables. This is home to lots of warm weather fun!
After that, there’s Groveland Park, which is a wonderful neighborhood playfield that has a variety of sports fields for residents of Inver Grove Heights. Having a birthday party of small family reunion? Rent out Groveland Park’s picnic shelter. The shelter holds up to 20 people and can be reserved in four-hour time blocks.
Other amenities include a playground, baseball / softball fields, soccer fields, basketball courts, tennis courts (non-lit), hockey rink (lit) and pleasure rink. Enjoy these amenities all year round!
Then there’s Harmon Park Reserve, which is located at 1642 Upper 55th Street East. This beautiful 43-acre park is filled with nature, trees and trails. Take advantage of the 1,812 feet of natural trails. The reserve boasts 22,294 feet of mountain biking trails as well. Harmon Park Reserve is the home to the Harmon Farms five- and ten-mile trail run that takes place in September each year.
There’s also Lion’s Park, this neighborhood park is one of the best fishing spots in Inver Grove Heights. Come relax on the fishing pier or play on our playground. You can also get your friends together at the picnic shelter for some food and a game of horseshoes.
Marianna Ranch is located at 9125 Alverez Avenue. This beautiful area boasts 64 acres of conserved land. Come enjoy the 9,681 feet of paved trails. McGroarty Park is located at County Road 18 and Blaine Avenue. This Lineal Park is a beautiful open space and home to some great Inver Grove Heights fishing.
North Valley Park is a beautifully wooded area in the heart of Inver Grove Heights. This large park includes 58 acres of land. Amenities include baseball / softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts (non-lit), pickleball courts, picnic tables, a grill and trails.
North Valley is also home to the Inver Grove Heights disc golf course.
