Hi, everybody. It’s Cassie from Helpertech, Burnsville, and I’m gonna talk to you about some battery repair that we can do on iPhones.

So, if your phone’s not lasting, you know, more than … If it’s not lasting at least 10 to 12 hours, then you probably should look into getting a battery replacement. The only reason it wouldn’t be lasting that otherwise is if you’re spending a lot of time on like Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, anything that’s like real high battery consumption like watching videos or things like that.

therwise, like I said, they should last, you know, pretty much the whole day without having to charge it. The only other reason that you’d wanna put a battery in is there is a glitch in Apple software where if your battery is starting to wind down, it will actually slow down your phone.

So if you feel like it’s lagging between apps, you talk to us, so you’re gonna take sort of like 15 seconds to respond. If you open up your camera app and you try to flip between the rear and the front camera, and it delays, that means that you should probably get a new battery put in, and that yours is starting to wear out.

A lot of times we see this when you hit like the two- to three-year mark on owning a phone. And that does vary a little bit, depending on, you know, how you have used it, and your charging habits. But, you know, otherwise it’s very easy to get it done. Like I said, it only takes about 15 minutes, and we can do that for $49.

You can stop in. Otherwise, if you have any questions, you can give us a call at 651-605-2575. And we’re open Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 6:00, and Saturday, 10:00 to 3:00.
