iPhone 6s Screen Replacement

Replacing the screen on iPhone 6s is pretty much simple. Take for example a case scenario where the glass is fine, but the touch doesn’t work. One might reason that could  be as a result of a little bit of crack under the glass. And you know what, when that happens sometimes, it can cause the top functions to stop working.

Hey everybody, it’s Cassie from Helpertech and I just want to talk to you about replacing the screen on a 6S. So here we’ve got one that actually the glass is just fine but the touch doesn’t work as you can see. It only works on some of these lower buttons, but if you try anything along the top that doesn’t work. We think it’s because if you look there is a little bit of a crack under the glass by that no service. So sometimes when that happens, it can cause the digitizer, the touch function to stop working.

So for 6S what you do for taking that off is we’ll disconnect the battery right here and then we’ll disconnect the three connectors that are up top. It’s a little hard to do this one handed. So we’ll go ahead and disconnect these. And I’ve got another screen. Pretty much all I’ll have to do then is just move the home button over because if you remember guys, the touch ID is keyed to the home button and that is specific to each button and motherboard. So I’ll just end up moving that over, reconnecting it, and that should have us all good and going.
